Jakarta --- The Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs won three awards as the best work unit (satker) in managing the APBN or State Budget. The awards given by the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN). The award was given by the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of DKI Jakarta Province, Mei Ling, and received by the Head of BPJPH Muhammad Aqil Irham, at the 2024 Stakeholders' Day event at the KPPN IV Jakarta office, Thursday (22/08/2024).

The three awards are, first, Rank 1 for the best Work Unit for the Best Budget Implementation Performance Indicator Value (IKPA) in the category of Work Units with a PAGU of IDR 150-800 Billion. Second, Rank 1 for the best Work Unit in the Best Page III Deviation Management. And third, Rank 1 for the best Work Unit in the Best Budget Absorption Management.

After receiving the award, the Head of BPJPH Muhammad Aqil Irham, said that the three awards were real proof of BPJPH's performance in managing the state budget, especially in the implementation of the halal certification process.

"Congratulations to BPJPH and all of us. This award is real proof of our dedication in providing services for business actors and stakeholders in an accountable and professional manner." said Aqil Irham after receiving the award at the Hall of the KPPN IV Jakarta Office, Thursday (8/22/2024).

"This achievement is fluctuating, where each semester the work unit that wins it can change. So it is important for us to be able to maintain consistency in managing the state budget and monitor it continuously." he added.

Furthermore, Aqil said that the three awards were not only be pride, but also become a motivating whip for BPJPH to work and perform even better. He also committed to continuing to contribute to strengthening the halal ecosystem and encouraging economic growth from the halal product sector.

In this effort, BPJPH carries out the management of the APBN as a state mandate that we carry out based on regulations in an accountable, transparent, effective, and optimal manner to support various programs for the implementation of Halal Product Assurance in order to present the best BPJPH services.

The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of DKI Jakarta Province, Mei Ling, expressed her appreciation to the work units that have shown acceleration and efficiency in budget management.

"We give this award to the work unit that shows the best performance among the 257 work units competing in 14 categories," said Mei Ling.

"This award emphasizes the importance of using the APBN based on the principle of 'value for money' for maximum benefit to the community," concluded Mei Ling. []
