BANDUNG - The Chairman of the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH), Ahmad Haikal Hasan, directly handed over the certificate of the Quality Syariah Halal Examining Agency (LPH) which increased its status from Pratama to Main LPH at the Grand Dafam Braga Hotel, Bandung City, on Saturday (22/03/2025). The submission of the decree was carried out after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BPJPH and Jembatan Masyarakat Indonesia ( JEMARI) to support the BPJPH halal certificate achievement target.
According to Haikal, the increase in the status of LPH Quality Syariah under the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) is based on a decree that was issued on March 21, 2025. “Congratulations Kang Denny, he is very qualified regarding this, since he has long experience as a Primary LPH,” said Haikal.
“With this status, LPH Quality Syariah can conduct halal certification throughout Indonesia, even abroad,” he added. Then, the Head of LPH Quality Syariah, Denny I. Bachrul expressed his appreciation to Head Ahmad Haikal Hasan who continues to encourage Primary LPH to become the Main LPH in accordance with existing regulations.
“Thanks to Babe Haikal, Babe's struggles are extraordinary. Our struggle is the beginning to support BPJPH to make Indonesia become the global halal center, so let's us all support each other,” said Denny. Denny said, what he has done so far, which has had a decree as a Primary LPH since October 5, 2022, is hopefully has the value of worship as well as continues to support every BPJPH policy, especially in halal matters.
“InsyaAllah, this is part of our deeds, in halal it is not just looking for rupiah, but the main thing is to seek good deeds the way Babe Haikal keeps reminding us,” he said. “We would like to convey our deepest gratitude to the assessors from BPJPH who have provided instructions, directions and guidance in the process of upgrading the status of LPH Quality Syariah to become this Main LPH,” said Denny.
As an information, LPH Main Quality Syariah has 35 halal auditors who are certified by BNSP and registered by BPJPH and distributed in 10 provinces in Indonesia, such as Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Riau Islands (Batam), Riau, Jambi, East Kalimantan (Samarinda), and West Nusa Tenggara.
